I’m Payal, a visual artist who found her home in painting while being away from home. Amidst the chaos of city lights, I found solace in my paintbrush. What started as a personal escape slowly became a dream - HATHKAARI, a project born from my love for art, handmade stories, and creating something truly my own.

My creative journey began in India with a love for fabric painting and designing unique, handcrafted clothing. Over the years, that passion has grown beyond fabric into canvases, portraits, murals and large-scale artworks.

Yes! Bringing your own cherished piece — whether it's a denim jacket, linen shirt, or silk scarf — is one of our favorite ways to work. We evaluate the fabric texture and color to ensure the paint bonds beautifully.
Custom commissions usually take between 2 to 4 weeks depending on detail complexity, drying & heat-setting time, and current studio queue position.
Absolutely. Every painted garment is hand-heat-set with specialized textile pigments. We recommend gentle hand-washing in cold water or delicate cycle, turned inside out, to preserve the artwork for years.
Yes, we paint on paper, stretched canvas with gold leaf, wooden embroidery hoops, wall murals, and custom home textile pieces.
Yes! We ship artwork and wearable art pieces worldwide with tracked express postal delivery.
